Senior Acoustic Consultant

We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to support our expanding workload in the field of environmental acoustics and on major construction projects in London and the south east.

Applicants should be a corporate member of the Institute of Acoustics with qualifications in acoustics or related field and have:

- practical experience of dealing with noise and vibration issue on construction projects;
- good knowledge and experience of compliance with legal requirements;
- experience of working with contractors and statutory bodies such as local authorities; and
- experience of obtaining Section 61 consents and demonstrating their compliance.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for a portfolio of projects and the provision of high quality acoustic consultancy services on time and within budget.

The work will involve travel within the South East of England and London, with occasional travel beyond. Individuals should be flexible and prepared to work outside normal office hours where required. Current full driver licence is essential and car ownership would be preferred.
