Independent Review of the design of noise and vibration mitigation measures for the new railway
Appointed by both the London Boroughs of Lewisham and Hackney as independent advisers, Southdowns role was to undertake detailed examination of the main design and build contractor’s technical work for the development of noise and vibration mitigation measures.
Southdowns undertook detailed reviews of the noise and vibration modelling for the new sections of railway within the Boroughs and the new depot at New Cross Gate, and assessed compliance with the project’s noise commitments relating to design.
