Construction Noise Calculations for Track Remodelling and Re-signalling
Southdowns were commissioned by Network Rail to undertake detailed construction noise calculations for a complex programme of track remodelling and re-signalling works on the approach to Lincoln Station.
The work included the assembly of a detailed computer prediction model to calculate noise levels through each day and night of a scheduled blockade, and subsequent noise monitoring during the works.
