Crossrail - Parliamentary Select Committee
Southdowns are representing the London Local Authorities on two routewide noise and vibration petitioning matters during the passage of the Crossrail Hybrid Bill through Parliament.
As an expert witness Rick Methold presented evidence to the Select Committee in 2006 on appropriate assessment and design criteria for groundborne noise within residential dwellings, and for airborne noise from fixed installations associated with the project.
The Parliamentary process continues and the Hybrid Bill is due to obtain Royal Assent in 2008.
