Ian joined Southdowns in October 2007 after graduating from the University of West England and is currently an Acoustic Consultant with the company. He is involved in a number of projects providing expertise on monitoring, modelling and assessment work.

Ian is a Registered Sound Insulation Tester under the Association of Noise Consultants Registration Scheme. Ian attained an MSc in Applied Acoustics and Noise Control in 2011, after completing a thesis relating to amplitude modulation in wind turbine noise at the North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT).
