New Acoustic Technician joins Southdowns

Southdowns is pleased to announce that Nathan Gregory has recently joined Southdowns on an industrial placement as an Acoustic Technician.

Nathan is studying for a BSc (Hons) degree in Audio and Music Technology at the University of The West of England in Bristol and joins Southdowns for 12 month on his placement, having successfully completed two years of study in the fields of audio processing, engineering and computing.

He will assist Southdowns as part of his 12 months temporary employment with the provision of technician support to acoustic consultants, whilst further developing his interests in environmental noise and vibration assessment prior to returning to University in September 2011 to complete his undergraduate studies.
