The Company

Southdowns is an independent and professional firm of specialist acoustics, noise and vibration consultants. The company is a member of the Association of Noise Consultants and all consultants are affiliated with the Institute of Acoustics.

The company is accredited under the Link-up, Utilities Vendor Database, and Constructionline pre-qualification schemes, and we are certified under ISO 9001 for the provision of noise and vibration consultancy and services (including monitoring) for all industry sectors. We have Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualified staff for rail-side working and all staff hold safety cards under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

Since its formation in 1996, the company has worked on hundreds of acoustics related projects throughout the UK and overseas for clients in both the public and private sector and we have achieved approved supplier status to many major companies in the UK. We are constantly looking to establish longer term relationships with organisations seeking to secure high quality services within its supply chain.
